Asif, the founder of COOPVA, had always been interested in entrepreneurship and small business management. However, his first foray into the business world was not successful, and his family's small business eventually went under due to lack of support. This experience left a deep impression on Asif, and when he joined the active duty military, he knew that he wanted to use his skills and knowledge to help other small businesses succeed. During his time in the Air Force, Asif saw firsthand the importance of continuity of operations planning and vulnerability assessment. He realized that these practices could be applied to small businesses as well, helping them to weather disruptions and seize new opportunities. With this in mind, Asif founded COOPVA, an organization dedicated to helping small businesses grow and thrive.
